About the Course

A fun learning approach for aspiring harpists with popular tunes. Suitable for students with or without music background.

Designed by Passionate Harp Educator, Katryna Tan, who takes her years of teaching and experience to make this course comprehensive and fun. With the aspiring beginner harpist in mind, each lesson addresses relevant harp technique, paired with familiar favourite tunes. This online learning module comprises of 4 sections to aid well-rounded learning, allowing the learner to review the lesson at their own pace and as many times they want. You will be harping in no time!

Module 1 includes:

• An Introduction to the Harp
• 8 Harp Lessons
• 1 x 60min LIVE Review Session with Rave Harps Accredited Teacher

Estimated Module Completion Time: 4-6 Months (but you can learn at your own pace!)

DETAILED TECHNIQUE DESCRIPTION

This section has a detailed description of each harp technique learned, with a step-by-step explanation by Katryna Tan. With her rich teaching experience, you will feel comfortable on the harp in no time.

TECHNIQUE EXERCISES

Each lesson will include a video track of exercises to play together with, checking your hand positions as you go along.

MUSIC PRACTICE

Apply your technique learnt into your favourite pieces. Practise along with Katryna Tan to learn the piece well.
